1955 Chevy Big Back Window 3100 Shortbed Truck. This is the model everyone is looking for! This truck is a great start for any restoration, street rod, rat rod, or custom build. This is a project truck, an easy build compared to most vehicles since all parts are readily available through many suppliers. I try to be as informative as possible when describing items in my auctions; good and bad. I have restored and street rodded a number of vehicles and am knowledgeable of the "trouble spots" so feel free to ask any questions you may have. Needed: The truck is basically solid; cab corners are free of cancer but do have some surface rust and bubbling (this is typical of most early chevy trucks). Rockers are workable, some cheese holes on passenger side. No motor or transmission. Firewall has puncture hole at base (looks like from taking out trans), repairable. Glass needs to be replaced. Normal dents door adjustments ect... need work. The Good: It's a 3100 Big Back Window Truck! Clear Virginia Title in my name. All body parts are there. Floor is solid. Fenders are solid and useable.
