Door Data Plate = 65A M 85 03F 74 1 6 A real classic beauty 1964 1/2 Mustang hardtop 2 door coupe. I purchased this car from a private party in Santa Rosa, CA three years ago. I am the fourth owner. This car was originally manufactured in the Dearborn, Michigan plant and first sold in Seattle, WA. It started out it's life as white with a red interior and somewhere in it's history the interior was painted black and the chassis was painted a beautiful red. The previous owner invested extensively in this vehicle and I have the receipts for the work along with their contact information. The miles on the odometer are not actual. I do not know when the original engine was replaced or how many miles are on this engine. The original motor was a 260 V8 but it now has a 289 V8 (even though the Ford emblem on each side of the front of the car says "260") The transmission, radiator, steering pump, starter and gas tank were done in 2003/2004 - again along with other extensive work documented by a mechanic. The only thing I have replaced since owning it is the generator and the battery cable wiring harness. The tires have very minimum wear. It has always been garaged and under a cover. All of the vehicles interior and exterior lights work as they should. There is a replacement radio in the dash and also a newer one installed in the glove box (see pictures). The dash stereo has never worked. I also have a radio that is the real type and year for this car that I purchased but just never got around to installing that I will include. There is also master power switch underneath the left side of the driver compartment that will not allow the car to be started if engaged. Also, there are no seat belts in the back. The exterior is very good on this car. The paint and the chrome are in very good condition. It is always a real head-turner when out driving this car. There is a very light scratch about 6" long on the drivers side rear panel also shown in the pictures. The car is NOT perfect, but please realize that it is 46 years old. Please consider this before bidding. The winning bidder is responsible for all pickup arrangements. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the auctions end. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the auction closing. THE DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID WITH PAYPAL. THE REMAINING BALANCE MUST BE CASH, CASHIER'S CHECK OR PAYPAL.
