You are bidding on a very unique 1961 Beetle. As you can see from the pictures the car has been professionally lowered all the way around and has a fantastic stance! The body paint and interior are all in very nice condition. The car has had much new done to it in the last 12 months. Below is a list of items that have been replaced, please take a look and if you have any further questions, please call me to discuss further. new ignition coil, spark plugs, plug wires, alternator, valve cover gaskets, oil cooler seals, new clutch, pressure plate, rear main seal, clutch cable, and all gaskets. Original trans axel has been rebuilt, new fuel pump, gas tank, fuel filter, brake shoes, new needle and seat and carburetor rebuilt. New solenoid. As you can see this car has had extensive work done to it. It runs and drives very nicely and can be an everyday driver. The motor has been upgraded to a later model, 1600cc and will keep up with traffic wherever you go. The paint is very nice; it does have some knicks and chips from being used. Looking at the interior of the car you will see that all seats have been reupholstered and new carpet has been added. There is an AM/FM CD player hidden inside the glove box along with the gas guage. The best and most unique part of the interior is that it is fitted with an air conditioning unit that has been made to look like it was added at the factory. This was added by a firm in Florida that specializes in installing AC units in air-cooled cars. In order to put this unit in, you will notice that the heat ducts were removed.
