This is the first year of the k5 blazer and are very rare and unique vehicles. This vehicle has some rust issues that can be took care of easily with new sheet metal. It would be a great project for anyone interestedin restoring, but this is not for the faint at heart it will not include the steering column but one can be provided if needed. it has the 12 bolt rear and the dana 44 front. I am not for sure but i think that it was a factory v8 4 speed. it is for sale locally so i reserve the right to end auction at any time. An aluminum center piece, in the grille, was embossed with the Chevrolet name, it had integral, rectangular parking lamps at each end, next to its square headlamp housings. A large Chevrolet bow tie was at the front center of the hood. The Blazer's single-unit body was joined to a heavy channel steel frame and had a completely removable fiberglass top. Chevrolet production records show a model number and listing for a 4x2 Blazer, but indicate that none were built in this model-year.
