Vehicle Detail
This is a very unique 1969 Camaro RS/SS. With the exception of one repaint done in the early 80's, it remains original and retains its factory installed numbers matching drivetrain as well as all other major components. This is a one owner previous to me car. This is a special order car and heavily documented with the following: original title, original dealer invoice, original GMAC sales contract, original broadcast sheets, original vehicle check list, original pre-delivery sheet, original GMAC thank you letter to original owner and original X11 D80 cowl tag. This Camaro RS/SS was special ordered and delivered to the original owner on July 8, 1969 at Phillips Chevrolet in Blairsville, GA. It was special ordered with cortez silver paint and midnight green deluxe comfort weave interior. The owner requested that the body broadcast sheets be saved for him and there are three factory sheets that go with the car. The options ordered on this RS/SS camaro are: 350 300HP V8 engine, factory air conditioning, power steering, power front brakes, factory spoiler car, tinted windows, AM radio, deluxe bucket seat interior with console, engine #T0521HB, Transmission #Y9E 16D, Rear Axle #BL0501G. The car received one repaint in the 80's. It needs paint again. It has all original body panel with no rust, with a small hole in the left rear inner fender. The trunk and undercarriage show minor surface rust only. The car does not have undercoating and the original silver paint is visable on the solid floors and frame. The trunk is solid with some surface rust and just a very few small spots that need attention. The interior is all original and is in overall good condition. Needs carpet, drivers door panel, steering wheel and cleanup. This camaro is completely stock just like it left the factory in 1969. Numbers matching engine, transmission and rear end and all original stock components from carb to oil pan. A/C is complete and works, but needs freon. The car runs great, starts right up every time. The engine is strong, does not smoke or clatter. The suspension feels tight and the transmission shifts smoothly. This is a very unique car. Contact me with any questions.
