For sale is a 1996 pontiac grand am gt,6 cylinder,automatic,sun roof,all factory with the exception of a aftermarket detachable face cd player,all power.the body is nice,paint is decent,no rust,nice and shiny,looks really sporty,not perfect,but very decent.(overall i would rate the exterior 7 out of 10) the interior is very nice and super clean,no rips,no tears,nothing worn,(overall i would rate the interior 8 out of 10) has had the following new parts within the past few years: tires 80%+tread, belt,battery,front brake pads.engine had head gaskets/intake gaskets replaced last year at msbg.motors,still under warranty, the motor runs good and the transmission works fine,the car has a nice smooth ride,it just has numerous other problems,to begin with the windshield is cracked from a rock,(drivable but needs replaced for sure),it has a power steering issue that looks to be a hose leaking,noisy rocker arm chatter when cold,power windows jump track,and the worst issue is with the rear brakes,when you drive and go to hit the brakes the rear wheels just instantly grab,no slowing down to a stop,you stop dead in your tracks when you push the brakes,the back tires will squeal and not budge until the brake pedal is released,going fast it would be a very scary way to stop,if you are not local and do not have a trailer of some sort,i suggest renting a car hauler or something from uhaul,great car for any mechanic,car dealer,handyman,etc.with some work it would be a very nice looking little car,i have posted numerous photos and tried my best to describe in detail,clear title in hand ready to go,lease feel welcome to call or email with any questions,i will be happy to answer them for you,if you are looking for a car to jump in and drive,this is not for you.a fair pay pal deposit of $100 will be required from the winning bidder,if this is a problem in any way,please do not bid.welcome to come by in person if you are local,drive it,etc.thank you for looking and have a nice day.
