Vehicle Detail
THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN LISTED SEVERAL TIMES AND THE PRICE HAS BEEN DROPPED OVER SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. THIS IS THE LAST AND FINAL TIME IT WILL BE LISTED. IT IS SELLING FOR LESS THAN TWICE WHAT IT IS WORTH. MUST GET RID OF. GETTING DEPLOYED MILITARY. Thank you! I purchased this vehicle just under two years ago from a Private seller in Michigan. I wanted a vehicle that had some modifications done to it such as body work, Audio, Lighting, and custom modification as well. When I purchased the car, their was 18500 miles on it. The main things that were done to it were shaved door handles with remote poppers and solenoids, vertical door hinge kit, full body kit, rim and tire package with 20 inch rims, custom wing, custom dash spray, touch screen eclipse deck and a little touch of lighting like pod gauges and strobes. I wanted to continue the project and keep going. I moved onto sound first, investing over 7,500.00 dollars in custom fabrication of the trunk and sub enclosure, sub woofers, component speakers, amplifiers, a capacitor, and the best quality wiring and gauge size possible. The box was custom designed and built in the trunk by "Beyond Boxes" in Cranston, RI. There is 4 square ft of space per sub and it is a custom ported box with black carpeting. There are walls on the side and also a top finished piece to blend in as a wall. These are carpeted as well. The entire sound system was completely installed and designed customarily by "Auto Audio" in Chepachet, RI totaling 18 hours of labor. They put in two 15 inch Kicker Solo Baric Sub woofers and all Infinity Kappa components and Kicker 6*9 Speakers. The Subs Are powered by a 2500 watt Kicker mono block amp. The speakers are in a 4 channel 350 watt Kicker amp. Both amps are wired into a 2 farad Tsunami capacitor. The smaller amp is mounted in the trunk with an LED light illuminating above as can be seen in the pictures and the larger amp is mounted on a custom board built and carpeted black in the back of the rear seats. There is also a 24 inch LED light above the larger amp illuminating it. The larger amp is custom painted metallic blue. The smaller amp was kept stock black. The capacitor is mounted on the right of the box. Both seats have pull hinges built through the box to release the seats down in order to show off the illuminated large amp in back of the seats. I than moved onto the doors and ripped out the solenoids previously installed, as they were only 35 lbs of pull, not nearly enough for the doors to open. I purchased a set of 2 Autoloc heavy duty 100 lbs solenoids and had those professionally installed by "HP Racing" in Glen Burnie, MD. All of the wiring was also re run and re grounded. There are multiple relays set up on each side as well Next, I had all of the lighting previously installed, completely ripped out, reinstalled, and rewired professionally, including the LED floor kit, corner mount strobes, corner mount gauges, and an in hood lighting LED kit. After that I moved onto the alarm system. Originally, there was a Viper kit installed with the colored remote and screen of the vehicle. I didn't like how the remote needed to be charged and it became faulty, so I replaced that with the top Python system available, the Python 990, 10 channel remote with screen as well. It runs on a single AAA battery lasting roughly 4 weeks per battery. The remote is used to operate the trunk, 2 separate channels operating door solenoids independently, the remote start, and also the alarming of the car in different modes of security. Independently means the doors are operated on separate channels, so you wont have a problem with both opening on 1 push. The driver door is set up so when you turn the ignition off, the door will pop open conveniently for you leaving you to just open the door vertically. Next I moved onto replacing the previous poorly installed vertical door kit and expanded to the direct bolt on Vertical doors Inc premium kit. Instead of just putting the steel black hinges on I wanted to add some decor to spunk them up. I sanded the hinges down and than masked off all of the bolts and grease lube spots. I primed the hinges with 4 coats of primer. I than sprayed the hinges with 4 coats of rust proof white paint and 4 coats of pearl white paint to match the car. This looked so much better when the doors were open seeing the white hinges and not black. Fenders were aligned properly, sanded down, and repainted. The doors go out about ten degrees than lift straight up with barely a finger. The shocks are 670 lbs struts and hold the doors up superbly. I took 16 hours to install the hinges ensuring they were precisely done. As you can see from the pictures, it is an amazing kit, and the operation is even better. There is also a full life time warranty on the hinge kit! With all of these electronics running through the car, what better of an idea than to beef up the electrical system? Added was a custom battery compartment in the trunk with two custom floor boards with black matching carpet. The amp is mounted on this and is elevated 2 inches above so that heat is not an issue. The battery purchased is an Optima Yellow Top Deep Cycle battery. This battery can stand the most ridiculous loads and combined with a brand new alternator that was just installed, make one powerful system to fuel all of the amenities of show this car holds. The 2500 watt amp was custom mounted in back of the rear seats on a custom wall. No wires from the entire system are shown. Clarity is amazing and the volume is intense. With two 15 inch Kicker Solo Baric Sub woofers the bass will blow your mind....yes it was possible to fit this system in a car like this. You're probably wondering why I am selling the car. Well first to start, I graduated from the United States Naval Academy back in May. I am also engaged and one vehicle between the two of us is plenty enough. I have had an amazing time with the car, but due to only having the chance to leave the gates of the Academy on weekends, I am not able to drive enough and have the fun I would like to have. This past summer was amazing having every day to go out and show it off. Getting involved in car clubs, car shows, and meets was one of the greatest feelings ever to know you have put such a vast effort into it. I would rather see someone own the car that has the time to have fun with it, who wants to get involved in shows, competitions, and even more so keep expanding. Serious buyers please. Due to not getting another vehicle, I will not be taking trades. I am listing the car for $10,000.00 to start with which is 3,500 less than what I paid for it. The car totaled in new and after market parts and professional customization is roughly $17,000.00.
