You are bidding on a 1969 Rally-Sport Camaro Coupe 327(original engine) Automatic, with an upgraded 400 turbo transmission. It was my fathers car, which he bought in 1972, in Ohio. Through most of the 1980's it was garaged and wasn't driven in the winter in Ohio. When we moved to Arizona in 1989 it was kept in a storage unit. and now it is currently under a carport and covered to protect against sun and rain. The body is in great shape, and has little rust. The rust is mostly in the trunk(this can be seen in one of the pictures), but there may also be some underbody rust. The heads in the trunk, are believed to be the original heads, for my father put 350 heads on the 327 original engine. He also added a high performance camshaft to the engine, back in the 70's. At one time in the 70's I was told he repainted the car, and judging from the pictures, it will need a new paint job again. There are many small defects in the paint, but not the body. The original black Vinyl top, will need to be replaced. All the chrome trim is in the trunk, due to him wanting to eventually repaint it(see picture). It has the painted version for the front bumper, which is not pictured but included. It is not the chrome version like the back bumper. The engine runs strong, and has no leaks. But the transmission will need a new seal, and leaks. The carburetor may need to be rebuilt, but it works. But it does sometimes flood. The exhaust ends in the middle of the car. It has straight headers. The brakes have all new drums, brake lines, and shoes, but they are not power brakes. It has power steering. It has a new battery, and fuel pump. The tires are relatively new Goodyear Eagle's, but they have not been driven on. The wheels are all Cragar. The rear wheels both have the Cragar hubs(one is installed and the other will be included), the front hubs are missing, but can be ordered. The interior is the original white Vinyl, and is in good shape. It has the original radio, but does not currently work. Some gauges work, including fuel gauge and speedometer. Also, the windshield wipers do not work. Or the heater, and it never had A/C. All the lights on the outside work properly, but the concealed headlights don't always properly retract, and the left one jams. It has the cowl induction hood! The engine stamp has a 55631 which also is found in the Vin#. The Vin# is 124379N556312. The body by fisher tag reads: ST6912437NOR196815BDY.TR72772BPNT.12A. Buyer pays for and arranges all shipping.
