Vehicle Detail

This is a 1990 GMC 1500 Sierra SLE extended cab long bed 4x4. Vin number is 2GTEK19K8L1517923. I bought this with plans to fix it up and use to haul cars, but plans changed, so now it's for sale. When I bought it, the transmission only had first gear. I have since replaced the transmission. So it runs and drives. The truck has some descent rims, tire size is LT285/75R16. SBC 350 engine. Odometer reads 267,620. I don't know if it is the original engine or if it was ever gone over before. The previous owner told me that a Crane Cams Camshaft was installed by the owner before him. The engine runs with about 40 pounds of oil pressure at idle. It can tend to sometimes maybe load up and idle acts up. perhaps the injectors need replacing. If you rev it, then the idle smooths out again. I replaced the cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, and PCV valve. The transmission is a 700R4. It's the 4 speed automatic with overdrive. All the gears work fine. Fresh fluid and filter. It has a 241C transfercase. I never tested the 4 wheel drive out. But it should work. Power steering, tilt steering, power locks, and power windows. Passenger side power window works. Driver side doesn't. You can move the window up and down by hand. I haven't investigated to see what's going on. Vent visors on all 4 windows. It does have air conditioning, but I noticed that the compressor is unplugged. Cobra CB radio and it works as far as I can tell. The passenger side mirror is missing. Probably a $10 replacement part from Autozone. I know you can buy the mirror and just reglue it on. I checked the headlights and high beams and they work. The driver side door needs door hinge pins and bushings. It's been sagging for some time and no one ever took care of it. So it bound up with the front fender and crincked it in some at the bottom of the fender as seen in the pictures. The engine does have a brand new alternator. Ummm... It has a bed liner that looks in good shape. Inspection ran out 5-09. It was parked by previous owner, due to the transmission problem, but I replaced the trans with another. It has a Drawtite brake controller, Hitch rated at 5000 lb ball mount / 500 pound tongue weight, and 7 pin electrical hookup. So it looks like it's all set up to do some towing. I haven't checked the battery for the towing, but there is one there under the hood and hooked up. All the glass looks ok. No cracks or chips. There are 2 studs on the driver side manifold that need to be drilled out and new studs put in. When I swapped the trans, I had to lower the exhaust and some studs broke. After those 2 studs are fixed, the Y pipe can be reinstalled. It will need a new muffler and tailpipe for inspection. There is some cancer on the rear wheel house lips. As seen in the pictures, the driver side cab corner needs to be placed or patched for inspection. Underside didn't look bad at all. The brakes work just as they should. I think I pretty well covered everything. It is a half descent extended cab full size bed pickup truck that runs and drives, but will take some work. Feel free to ask any questions. Local Pickup. I can help assist in plans for hauling if buyer needs transport. I'd prefer cash or a certified bank check at pickup. I do have a clear title in hand, and title will be transferred after truck is paid for and a time that's convenient for both parties.
