I have too many projects and just not enough time and room anymore so iv decided to try and pass the candle on a couple and see if there is any takers. This one here is a a very strong runner that fires up with 2 pumps of the gas every time. It has the hard to find factory 345 4bbl with newer carter electric choke carb,full a/c set-up, tilt steering, auto trans power steering and power disc brakes, full removable top dana 44's front a rear, limted slip factory posi in rear and more. This scout has always been a runner and a driver with current tabs and plates so it hasn't had long periods of time sitting so it would make a great drive it as you restore it rig, offroad project or just keep it as is and use it as your dump hauler and work horse as iv done. This was going to be my build up for my next trail rig as i was gonna turn the a/c to on board air run no top and doors and cage it but since alot of trails have been closed around here and the tight economy not many people in this area wheel much anymore so this one needs to be passed on to the next person. he nice thing is its a no questions completely original scout but the bad side is that it has some typical cancer issues and does not have the beast street appeal. It has rust starting in little places on front fenders, rear quarter panel lip, just on driver rockers and the sides of the top, but floors seems solid along with body mounts. I would completely plan on swapping top since its pretty trashed except the rear hatch along with the doors since they have body damage and if you slam the driver too hard it won't open from inside, but it comes with 2 extra doors and rockers removed from a wrecking yard. The scout has some dents here and there also as seen in pics and a little valve cover leak starting, but shifts nice , has lots of power, smooth runner with no ticks, smoking or knocking and drives pretty good. All these parts can be bought new from many online parts houses now days. Drivetrain wise it is very solid and does no knock, tick or hesitate but has normal oil leaks form years of use. It has a tough look with the bigger 33 muds and black rockcrawler style wheels. There is no buy it now and i won't end the auction early or reveal the reserve but i am losing a pretty good amount of money on this one at its priced way below $1500 so good luck
