Great mechanical and cosmetic condition. The new red paint shines brightly, the body lines are excellent, and everything works 100%. It has a new interior, and a new power top. No rust anywhere on the car, up or down. The driveline is all original. A great driving car, and is ready for your immediate enjoyment. Miles are original at 33k, has an actual miles title. This car was loved all its life by a one New Jersey owner, and fully restored in 2008. Our reserve is set at a level that represents an excellent value for an original C code 289 convertible in fully restored condition. Body and Frame: -No accident damage anywhere. -No rust anywhere. -No dents or dings in body panels. -Has the Ford VIN stamped into the left front inner fender. The inner fenders are original and in great condition. It is a C code 289 car. -Paint was redone in 2008, in bright red. Paint is an eight out of ten, a few very tiny blemishes (very hard to photograph). No dirt, tape lines, overspray or fisheyes in the paint. A few tiny paint bubbles on the lower door and left rear lower quarter, but nothing to detract from the overall appearance of a new car. -Trunk is solid, and has new plaid trunk pad, spare is missing. -Floors, frame rails, torque boxes, fenders, shock mounts, rocker panels, quarters, and valence panels are all rust free. Rear floor pans replaced. I have inspected this on my lift, 100% solid. -Underside is coated with an epoxy undercoating. This is not tar based, but a high solids type epoxy that was sprayed on. I have poked all around with a pick, and there are no soft spots, or patches. -Body seams are very straight, especially the door seams, never seen any better than this. Indicates there was never any “body sag” on the car, because you can never get them back to the factory alignment. Doors shut with a “one finger” light push. -All chrome trim and stainless is present, and of excellent quality. -Bumpers are new. -Wheels covers are original, tires arebrand new Firestone 195/75/14 whitewalls. Mechanical: -Car drives very strong, very smooth and solid feel, goes down the road straight, brakes work fine. Had it up to 75mph and it was very solid. -Engine starts with a flick of the key and runs smoothly and quietly, no smoking or leaks. Underside of engine is completely dry. Original carb and intake. New fuel pump and starter. -Manual 3-speed trans shifts smoothly. Driving the 3-speed is fun, you can chirp the tires from 1st to 2nd, and you have a really long second gear to wind on, much less work than a 4 speed. - Front upgraded to Disc brakes, and dual circuit master cylinder, and new lines. -The entire front suspension was rebuilt, new a-arms, rotors, steering rods, coil springs, shocks, tie rods, ball joints, bushings, etc. Rear suspension has new leaf springs and shocks. -Power top is new, and works great. -Dual exhaust, and new gas tank. -All glass in excellent condition. Interior: -Interior was replaced in Jan 2009, in Mint condition. -New Seats, Carpets. Door panels are mint. -Brand new convertible top, seals well, and top frame is mint. Has power top. -Deluxe seat belts. -Replacement radio works fine. -Dash gauges all work fine, and all interior lights come on. -All Exterior lights and turn signals work fine. -Heat and ventilation system works fine. -Dash is very nice, with no crack, looks like new. -Steering wheel in mint condition, horn works. -All trim in excellent condition. Pickup or Delivery: Will only deliver the car once paid for. You are welcome to inspect the car before the auction ends. We can ship to Europe, if you arrange for shipping and pickup. Here is a high quality 1965 Mustang Convertible, C-code 289 car. Great mechanical and cosmetic condition. The new red paint shines brightly, the body lines are excellent, and everything works 100%. It has a new interior, and a new power top. No rust anywhere on the car, up or down. The driveline is all original. A great driving car, and is ready for your immediate enjoyment. Miles are original at 33k, has an actual miles title. This car was loved all its life by a one New Jersey owner, and fully restored in 2008.

Body and Frame:

-No accident damage anywhere.

-No rust anywhere.

-No dents or dings in body panels.

-Has the Ford VIN stamped into the left front inner fender. The inner fenders are original and in great condition. It is a C code 289 car.

-Paint was redone in 2008, in bright red. Paint is an eight out of ten, a few very tiny blemishes (very hard to photograph). No dirt, tape lines, overspray or fisheyes in the paint. A few tiny paint bubbles on the lower door and left rear lower quarter, but nothing to detract from the overall appearance of a new car.

-Trunk is solid, and has new plaid trunk pad, spare is missing.

-Floors, frame rails, torque boxes, fenders, shock mounts, rocker panels, quarters, and valence panels are all rust free. Rear floor pans replaced. I have inspected this on my lift, 100% solid.

-Underside is coated with an epoxy undercoating. This is not tar based, but a high solids type epoxy that was sprayed on. I have poked all around with a pick, and there are no soft spots, or patches.

-Body seams are very straight, especially the door seams, never seen any better than this. Indicates there was never any “body sag” on the car, because you can never get them back to the factory alignment. Doors shut with a “one finger” light push.

-All chrome trim and stainless is present, and of excellent quality.

-Bumpers are new.

-Wheels covers are original, tires arebrand new Firestone 195/75/14 whitewalls.

Mechanical:

-Car drives very strong, very smooth and solid feel, goes down the road straight, brakes work fine. Had it up to 75mph and it was very solid.

-Engine starts with a flick of the key and runs smoothly and quietly, no smoking or leaks. Underside of engine is completely dry. Original carb and intake. New fuel pump and starter.

-Manual 3-speed trans shifts smoothly. Driving the 3-speed is fun, you can chirp the tires from 1st to 2^nd, and you have a really long second gear to wind on, much less work than a 4 speed.

- Front upgraded to Disc brakes, and dual circuit master cylinder, and new lines.

-The entire front suspension was rebuilt, new a-arms, rotors, steering rods, coil springs, shocks, tie rods, ball joints, bushings, etc. Rear suspension has new leaf springs and shocks.

-Power top is new, and works great.

-Dual exhaust, and new gas tank.

-All glass in excellent condition.

Interior:

-Interior was replaced in Jan 2009, in Mint condition.

Pickup or Delivery:

Will only deliver the car once paid for. You are welcome to inspect the car before the auction ends. We can ship to Europe, if you arrange for shipping and pickup. We have shipped cars all over the world, and will make every effort to assist buyers with their shipping needs. The buyer will have direct responsibility for hiring and managing the shipping company. We will deliver cars to the Baltimore Md. port for shioment overseas, for a small fee.
