Vehicle Detail
This is a wonderful original condition Caddy with 30k original miles, 15k I drove myself over the past 18 months. It was purchased brand new locally at Bunch Cadillac on Broadway here in Nashville, and has an upgraded Fleetwood interior package. The title has always been registered here in TN. The car was stored for many years, then put back on the road with some repairs, fresh paint and a new vinyl top. It's virtually a time-capsuled new car. I have a few pieces, original purchase invoice, original TN tag with matching key fob (see pics). It's a fantastic turquoise in and out and a rare true sedan with a POST, which keeps the body solid. There were only 7,230 Sedans built in 1970 as opposed to the over 83,000 hardtop Sedan DeVilles. The chrome is good, not quite perfect. The back seat looks like it has never been sat in. It has power windows, power door locks, 6-way power seat, tilt/telescopic steering, Wonderbar AM/FM radio, A/C (needs charge or conversion). Glass and dash is all perfect, window motors all work excellent. Carpet still sheds like new carpet when you vacuum it ! The only major issue with the car is the leaky rear main seal - because of the years of storage, the seal must have gotten dry at some point. I've driven the car with the leak for over a year, it's more of a nuisance than anything. If you check the oil levels at every fill-up, it will never give you any trouble. All other issues are minor, the recent paint job was decent but not perfect, there are a few rubber trim and door seal issues although the doors do not leak water at all, and the usual spots where rust is beginning to show under the paint on the lower rear quarters and inside lower fins on the rear bumper. The front driver seat has two places where the material has become brittle and has a small split. The front seat needs re-stuffing where the old foam has aged and compacted (see pics for details). All information is truthful and completely honest, I have used this car a semi-daily driver and have never had trouble with it. It needs inside storage to maintain its original condition properly, unfortunately it won't fit in my garage. You are welcome to call me for any questions, 615-293-2159. THIS IS A RARE, LOW-MILAGE, TRUE SEDAN WITH FLEETWOOD INTERIOR! A WONDERFUL DRIVER AND A REAL HEAD-TURNER!
