0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false This is a gem waiting to be restored. I bought it from a relative’s estate in 2003 hoping to restore it one day. I have since retired and am no longer interested in restoring it. It sat under a carport at a house on top of a mountain in north Georgia (see photo). I drove it from north Georgia to Macon, and it ran smoothly. The only thing I have done to this car is to install a new exhaust system. Interior is in good shape. There is a small rip along a seam in the seat. The radio is the original AM radio. I’m sure it probably works, but the speaker in the dash does not work. All glass is good. Windows roll up and down. Vent window handles work great. Doors open and close tightly. There is a hole in the floor pan behind the passenger seat and passenger floor. Body is straight and in fairly good shape. Most of the rust is surface rust and just needs to be sanded and primed before painting. Grill and front and rear bumpers are in good shape. Fuel gauge does not work. Turn signals, parking lights, headlights, and brake lights work; however, the passenger taillight needs a bulb. The engine is an original 307 and runs good, but an engine restoration would be nice. Transmission is a 2-speed Powerglide and shifts great. Tires are in good shape. Tire size P215/75R14. Spare tire (although flat), original jack and lug wrench included. Brakes work but needs an overhaul. Power steering works fine. This car is one of the true restoration candidates around. This car has a lot of potential. Car is sold AS IS with no warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping. Car is driveable, but I would strongly recommend it be trailered or transported to buyer’s destination. I am not responsible for vehicle or its operation after it leaves my premises. I have never had this vehicle tagged. I do have the last tag receipt from the late owner, but I do not have a title. It comes with a bill of sale only. Sold to lower 48 United States. A non-refundable PayPal deposit of $250.00 is due at auction end with the balance to be paid in CASH at pickup. If buyer is not picking up the car personally, balance will have to be paid in full before being transported by a third party. The reserve price is lower than the buy it now price.
