Here is a 1991 Chevy Cavalier RS convertible. The engine is a 3.1 V6, automatic transmission. The car is blue with gray interior. The car has 100,500 miles. Engine runs great, trans shifts as it should. Car was last inspected in December of 2009. Everything works as it should including all gauges, lights, brakes, AIR CONDITIONING! Recent repairs include new fuel pump, new alternator and new high pressure power steering hose. The power convertible top is in working condition, although at some point, the top will have to be repaired or replaced, the top does not leak at this point, but the back plastic window has a crack in it and the corners of the top where it meets the back window are cracked. The windows are power and working, but the passenger side only goes down half way. All 4 tires have at least 60 % tread but the fronts are starting to dry rot, not an issue to me, I'm sure you would get 20K more miles on these tires, but I just want to point it out. There are small sections of clear coat is coming off the hood, but a nice color combination. There is some oil seepage from the engine, although not enough that you have to add between 3000K mile oil changes. Interior is very nice especially considering it is a 19 year old car, there are no cracks in the dash and the seats do not have any tears anywhere, although there is a small burn mark in the back seat. Here is the only bad, but it really should not concern you for the year and the price of the car. This is a "R" title car. We purchased it from a friend who owns a towing business. Previous owner of the car passed on and the car was left on the street abandoned. He had to do a salvage certificate and then an "R" title to make it legal in PA. Car was NOT demolished in a car accident. This is just how PA operates. I reserve the right to end this auction early as this car is also being offered for sale locally.
