You are Bidding on a 1942 Ford Dump Truck. This truck was parked about 3 years ago. The engine will turn over, but the starter seems to be seized up. I have never had the engine running due to that i can not guarantee the engine, but knowing flat 6's if it turns over with a little bit of work it should run. At this time i have to many projects and no time to play with this truck. The truck is in good shape for a pre war vehicle and has alot of potential to become either a work truck or just a show piece. this is a good body for a rat tod project, but i would rather see it stay as a dump. The truck is solid with some rust holes and dents as would be expected. The windshield gasket has leaked and the dash is rusty because of it. The drivers side window was shot by a bb gun at one time and is slowly losing glass. The underside of both doors will need to be repaired as rust and time has taken its toll. The truck has a 2 speed rearend and is powered by the original flat 6. The odometer reads 28038 miles, but as i have not had the truck running i am not sure if it works or not. If i had to guess i would say it is probably accurate as that is alot of miles for a dump truck. Due to the size of this truck it is pick up only.
