Vehicle Information Miles: 66,780 66,780 --> Exterior Color: Black Interior Color: Black Vehicle Description 1967 Pontiac GTO, 8 cylinder, automatic transmission. Mostly all original, unrestored, 400 engine, automatic turbo 400 with his/hers, recent tune up, tranny serviced with a shift kit installed, new brakes, tires and shocks. This car runs great. The second owner of the car installed a performance RAM AIR III camshaft and a holley 4bbl carb. The interior is in very good original condition. The chrome and Rally II wheels are in great condition. There is some minor bubbles in the typical areas of these cars around the rear window area but there does not appear to be any rust in the quarters or any other place in the car. There is no bondo that I can see. This is a great driver. The car will need a paint job eventually but from a few feet away you cannot tell there is any issue with the cars paint. There is nothing to feel embarrassed with this car. The paint shines beautifully. I believe there was one repaint to the original color of the car which was black. This car has PS, PB, factory tach on console and a non original AM/FM cass radio. The car has a rare chrome cowl from the factory. In accordance with the Collector car Market Review rating of 1-4, 1 being in mint condition, I would rate this car between a 2-3 on the scale. The car is priced between a 2-3 which is from 19600-28350. Number 3 is defined; " a presentable inside and out with some minor signs of wear. Shiny, attractive paint but may have evidence of minor fading or checking or other imperfections. Runs and drives well. May need some minor mechanical or cosmetic work but is usable and enjoyable as is and can be shown with pride". Number 2 is defined "as Very Good, extremely presentable vehicle showing minimal wear or a well restored vehicle. Runs and drives smooth and tight. Needs no mechanical or cosmetic work. All areas have been detailed but may show use and lacks the "as new" crispness of a No. 1 show car, but clearly below a number 1." Being my car is just about original, with the only issue of a not a numbers matching carb, an installed Ram Air 3 camshaft and automatic transmission shift kit installed warrants the price I am seeking. The car has an undocumented, but clearly demonstrates the 66K miles. The engine, transmission and rear (373) are all otherwise matching as I was told. This car did pass the New Jersey State Motor Vehicle Inspection whereas the miles have been documented since new. I am selling this car so I can purchase a 1966 GTO that became available. While I know the 67 is a much better car all the way around I love the 66 tail lights. The 400 engine is great. For the price you cannot go wrong. You will not find a GTO in this condition anywhere else for the price and condition of this car.
