Vehicle Detail

This is a nice bike, I enjoy it and it serves me well. Starts great runs great looks great rides... well you get the picture, it rides great! I ride a few days a week at best, only because of the family situation (kids, always driving them some place or another). Unfortunately we need to sell the bike (and a few other things), kinda need the money. I don't mean to sound grouchy, but I am not really happy about selling so don't look for a steal, but after studying the current mortorcycle market for a couple weeks I have set the reserve at a very fair price (meaning, less than I paid for it just over a year ago). I have put about 1200 milkes on it, and it has served me like a champ. I have changed the oil filter, oil and air filter. I intended to give her a full tune up, this month, but I will leave that up to the new owner. I don't think there is any rust to speak of, maybe some light pitting but it's so minor I really only notice when I wax it, it has a couple signs of use, but no real scratches and absolutley no dents. It's never been dropped or laid down. I am confident that everything is original. Well, except the sissy bar, and the tool bag on the front. The Honda 400 Custom came stock with a nice Chrome engine guard I have mounted a pair of highway foot pegs on them. The sissy bar, foot pegs and tool bag go with the bike, (the bag hanging off the sissy bar does not come with), you can have the two full face helmets (Black) if you want. One is an XL one is a small. The small has never been worn on the road. I think that's about it. Sorry that there is not a wealth of pictures, time is at a premium at my house, I can try and get more up while the auction is on, but if you have any specific requests for pictures please email me and I will post them ASAP. Please do not ask about the reserve, I will not answer. I doubt you'll be disappointed at twice the price, I know I really like this bike and will be sad when it leaves. SHIPPING*** The buyer must assume all costs for shipping and preparing the bike for shipping. Other than cost I will work with the buyer on shipping the bike in any way I can. I can deliver the bike within 50 miles at no charge, after 50 miles $1.00 per mile. Longer than 100 miles I will offer a delivery price quote to the buyer if asked. (I have a Ford F-150 that I would use). There are a number of shippers that offer reasonable prices and I will have the bike ready for pickup when the buyer needs or I can even take it to the shippers location if it saves a bit of money, (of course the above costs and restrictions apply). And of course the buyer can pick it up at my home if they choose. PAYMENT*** A $250.00 deposit is due within 72 hours of the end of the auction, and the balance of the total sale due with in 7 days of the end of the auction, if those conditions are not met the bike will be relisted and I will file what ever formal complaints are available through ebay. Once the deposit is received I will consider the bike sold, if the buyer fails to pay the balance on time and no other arrangement has been agreed on between myself and the buyer, the bike will be relisted and the deposit will not be returned.
