Axle: 6 3.00 Trans: x Fmx automatic (not present) You will be bidding on a very solid unrestored 1969 2-v Mach I. I purchased this car three years ago with intent of doing a complete restoration. New job responsibilities and lack of garage storage space precludes continuation of the original plan. This car must be sold immediately and I do have a clear title. If you have always wanted to rebuild an original 69 Mach I, then this is the project car you should consider. The car was purchased out west in Utah, towed to Columbus, Ohio, and placed in my garage where it has resided for the past three years. The car had very little rust and most of the metal work has already been finished. Besides paint, all this beauty needs is a motor and transmission. Neither of them came with the car when I purchased it. I do have a 351 Windsor that I will be happy to sell separately as well as a transmission, and both were purchased with the intent of dropping them into this Mach I. This was originally a 2-v Mach and came with drum brakes. Information about the car: The floor pans are in good shape as are the torque boxes. Rear quarter panels have been replaced and car has been put in primer and is ready for painting. Front and rear valances were not on the car when it was purchased and the bumpers were also missing. All glass is in excellent condition and the doors are un-rusted. The passenger side window does not go up all the way and will require adjustment. All chrome pieces around the windshield and rear window are present and in good condition. The engine compartment is in excellent shape, though the battery tray needs to be replaced. The wiring harness is still in the car and appears to be original. The hood scoop is not attached to the car and was placed onto the car for the pictures. The turn signals in the scoop were missing when I purchased the car. The seats come with the car and the seats are 69 Mach seats (correct lever releases). The fold down back seat is also included. Taillights are included as well as the passenger side headlamp bucket shown in the picture. (The original was damaged.) Some items not present that will need to be purchased separately include the Mach I clock in the dashboard, radio, exterior chrome door handles, radio antennae and other miscellaneous parts. The dashboard is completely rotted and will need to be replaced. Items requiring repair: First, there are a couple of metal patches that should be addressed prior to reassembly. These are minor and any reputable body man can make these repairs. One is behind the rear fold down seat, and there are two minor trunk areas requiring some attention. All in all, this is a rust free car that will require very little to restore it to original condition. This is as much detail as I have been able to gather. If you have specific questions, feel free to call me on my cell phone (614-746-4413). This car may be shipped, but be aware that it is a rolling shell. I will be glad to assist you in loading the vehicle. I request that winning bidder contact me within 24 hours after the auction ends. Winning bidder agrees to make a $500 deposit through Pay Pal to be made within 48 hours after the auction ends and the car must be paid in full within 5 business days from the end of the auction. Vehicle is sold as-is. Payment method: Cash or Certified Cashiers Check at pickup. Remember that your bid constitutes a legally binding contract to purchase this item. If you require an inspection, have it done prior to bidding. I strongly encourage all bidders to inspect the vehicle personally or enlist the services of a professional inspector prior to placing a bid. After the sale, inspections are not recognized as a contingency to completing your obligation to your winning bid. Please do not bid if you are not seriously interested or not financially able to purchase this item. If there are any questions regarding the above terms, please e-mail them to me prior to bidding. Serious bidders only please. Good Luck!!!!!! On Jun-28-10 at 17:20:47 PDT, seller added the following information:I have rechecked the floor pans and they are in excellent shape with one exception: the front floor pan on the passenger side. This side will require some repair as there is a hole right below the glove box.
