0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false This 2007 R1200GS is as good an example as you are likely to find. Only 1042 miles! I traded in a K1200LT and bought this new. It has low miles I as had several other bikes at the time I got it, and other than the ride home from the dealer (about 450 miles), it has just been ridden around town. It has been garaged since new. I have been selling off my motorcycles because old age and bad eyesight have been setting in and I just don't feel as safe as I once did. It has ABS brakes, hand grip covers, heated hand grips, detachable saddlebags and trunk, engine guards, a power outlet for BMW heated MC apparel, (which can also used for the off-season battery tender), digital clock and digital readout of current gear. It has never been dropped and has barely been ridden. It is wired for a BMW Navigator II GPS system. This was moved over from the K1200LT I traded in. The navigation unit itself broke (screen stopped working) so the unit is not there but the mounting bracket and power cord are still on the bike (see pictures) . I am told (via Internet searches) that both a BMW Navigator III unit or a Garmin Street Pilot 2820 unit will fit in the cradle and will accept the same power cord, but please check for yourself. Because I live over 400 miles from the nearest dealer, it has not been in yet for the "Running In Check" (oil change etc.). There is also a recall notice I received that has to do with the front brake line that has not been addressed. This can be done at any BMW motorcycle dealer for no charge, and according to the notice, will take less than one hour. They want to re-route one of the brake lines. The brakes work fine and I personally cannot see a problem with any of the brake lines. This bike is NOT equipped with the optional "computer" that calculates mpg for you. You will have to do the math yourself. There are a few scuff marks on the seat. Other than that it is in about as a good a condition as you can find outside of a showroom. I have the original manual and paperwork that came with the bike. There is only one key as that is all BMW provided when I bought it. This is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Serious bidders only, please. I have described the bike as accurately as I can and other than the running-in check and the brake line recall being due, this bike has no mechanical problems and is in need of no repairs to my knowledge.
