1967 Honda CL

This Honda CL160 is "barn fresh" and in all original condition. It was in storage in a garage for over forty years. I took it in as a trade. I changed the spark plugs, rebuilt the carbs, aired up the tires and added the foam air filters and battery. It starts right up with the electric starter or kicker. All the lights work and the battery charges. I rode it around a little and it runs perfect. This is a great bike to restore or you could just leave as a survivor bike. You can see in the photos the condition, it is a little rusty and the right side cover is missing. The gas tank is clean with very little rust. It has the original key and the horn works too. I have a clean Illinois title dated Feb. 8th, 1974 that is when the title was transferred to the new owner, it says the bike was originally registered in Utah. The former owner told me his dad parked it in the garage in 1976 and there it sat. I researched this bike and found that this was a CB160 that has had a CL kit added by the dealer, that was the way Honda sold them. It has an aftermarket skid plate. Also it doesn't have a kickstand so I guess that it is missing. Happy bidding.
