1986 Volkswagen GTI in Black. Not in very good condition so for parts or repair only strictly sold as is. Paint is faded in some places, front windshield has a big crack in it, rear-view mirror has come off. Rear and passenger seats aren't that bad but the cloth covering the drivers seat is ripped pretty badly. Despite all this the car was reliable and drove very well up until recently. It now, no longer starts and the battery doesn't stay charged. I'm assuming the alternator broke but I'm not a mechanic and therefor not sure what the problem is. Air does not work. The sunroof also has some issues. It is misaligned and doesn't close properly any more. Transmission was rebuilt at around 100.000 miles. The odometer has stopped working at about 156.000 I've put an estimated 20.000 miles on it after that. This car has a brand new set of tires that have probably less than 800 miles on them. Buyer will have to have this car towed to what ever destination at his or her expense. Pictures to follow soon. No warranty included or implied.
