UP FOR AUCTION 1989 HONDA CIVIC DX The car is in good running condition with not known of any mechanical defects counting his age and mileage. There is no known of any leaking, smoking, or knocking. The Engine and Trans run and shift fine. I got the car on February 2008 and with time and dedication converted the car in the shape that it shows right now; it still has some spots that were not addressed such as the interior that honestly I didn’t have time to fix it... Car meter shows 223.999 miles; my mechanic said that original engine has been replaced however I don't know the whereabouts on this and do not know how many miles has been put on the current car engine. This was a personal project car but my interest has changed and I really do not have time to continue with this project anymore, car is in great cosmetic condition for his age and mileage. There are some things that need to be addressed that I will list them as follows: AC needs to be charged and not sure if it needs something else, brakes are low and probably need to be replaced as well, car needs to be balanced I don’t think that needs an alignment. It uses low profile tires. Mechanically as a daily driver works just fine however if you want to have a great performance on the highway some additional upgrades might need to be made. I was thinking in installing turbo on reason why I did not need to charge or fix the A.C. Honestly do not have the time . Car has Clear Title in hand. Car gives the driver between approximate 33 to 37 mpg on the city and 37 to 41 on the highway. The tires in general are in very good condition all, I have 2 spare tires to go with the car, It has a few light rust spots just by the rear fenders. Other specs added. Clear corner signal Lights, Steering Wheel + Hub Quick release. (Great anti- theft mechanism) 45 % windows film in passenger and driver sides, 30 % windows film in the back both windows. 2 front seats have been replaced with 2 Seats from a Honda Civic 98. Radio has a DVD player but needs to be installed properly. Car has Power steering in great condition. Auction winner has to made arrangements for pick up.
