What we have here is a 1964 SS IMPALA factory 4 speed car with posi. It was built black on black. Original California car built in Los Angeles & sold in Burbank . Very solid car to restore, the only rust is on the tailpan by the rear bumper & a spot on the left lower quarter. It needs complete restoration. I dont think the car has ever lived more than a 100 miles from where it was sold but it was in the desert & the heat really dried it out & cracked all the paint. I bought it to restore & it had a frozen motor so I found a used 327 & installed it. The motor runs good but unfortunatly it smokes. So it probly needs valve seals.or a rebuild. Iam into 56 & 57 Chevys & would concider a trade on these, Happy bidding !! Shipping is buyers resonsability but I will help out on my end. You can see the undercarridge is very nice only suface rust never undercoated rockers floors & braces are in beautifull shape. I took a pic of the rust spot on L lower quarter ( the paint is bubled up from a desert brush fire) on left lower quarter. Also a pic of the tailpan by the rear bumber. The only other bad spot is the cargo area of the trunk has a few small holes from water gathering up, I wire bruhed it & shot some splatter paint.In one pic you can see the rear packadge tray was cut out for speakers easy fix. I want to show all the bad with the good so there is know surprises . Its the 1964 original owners protection plan book filled out by Community Chevy in Burbank Cal. with the OG owners info. The book says the car was sold on 5-31-64 & apperantly by the owners address he lived right down the street from the dealer.
