1954 Ford F250 had frame-up restoration. Truck originally owned by hospital in New Orleans and used for running small errands back in the 50's and early 60's. Thie accounts for the low mileage, which I believe to be accurate. The truck was taken down to the frame and restored. The drive train was upgraded and now has a Ford 302 V-8 with an Edelbrock intake manifold and Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. The truck has been converted to 12 volts and has a GM 1 wire alternator. It is mated to a C6 automatic transmission and a Dana rear-end which allows the truck to cruise easily at highway speeds. Along with the dual exhaust, the truck sounds as good as it looks. The truck was painted about 5 years ago with PPG Deltron urethane paint in the original colors of Torch Red and Raven Black with Clear Coat. The seat is a Tu-tone Grey and Black. The headliner, floor mat and wiring are new as are the tires. The wipers have been upgraded to electric 2-speed which work flawlessly. The battery is also new and seat belts have been added for safety. The truck has the original radio and speaker grill installed. The truck also has the original heater and defroster in great working condition. The 8 foot bed has been restored to better than new condition with Red Oak boards. The truck has working running lights and an original working spotlight. The sale of the truck includes an extra radio, some miscellaneous parts and manuals and brochures. This truck is completely rust-free and is great at car shows. The paint is older and could use some touch up. Please ask any questions before bidding.
