Up on the block is a 1997 Chevy Suburban 2500 4x4. It was the Command Unit in a small town fire department, and driven the fire chief all it's life, no accidents, just shows the wear of a 13 year old truck. Mechanically the truck is in excellent condition we have all the service records for this truck and it has been taken great care of. Truck is located in Jordan, NY at the Jordan Fire Dept. 1 North Hamiton St. Jordan, NY 13080 if anyone wants to take a look at it or take it for a test drive. Call the firehouse with questions 315-689-3923 Specs: 5.7L V8, (350) Runs well, starts right up, burns no oil. Check Engine Light is on, reads a code for the EGR system. Easy, cheap fix. Exhaust has a small hole in the top of the muffler, doesn't effect driveability of it. Sounds pretty good actually. Transmission is in good condition has always been serviced, never towed with. 4x4 works great, shifts in and out smoothly. Possibly bad u-joint on the front prop shaft. Cheap Fix Rubber Floor Mats, Center Console has been removed but can be reinstalled and is included with the truck A/C blows cold. AM/FM Stereo with 4 Speakers, Power Windows and Locks. 3rd Row seat is included with the truck New battery, and alternator was replaced last year, new master cylinder a 2 years ago along with a full 4 wheel brake service. Has some old radio atteneas on the roof, can be removed if wanted. Perfect for a scanner or CB. Truck comes with a 7'6" Fisher SpeedCast Plow with Snow-Foil. Hand Held Remote. Plow works great. Only used to plow the parking lot of the firehouse. Comes with a new set of plow shoes for it.
