Very nice Saleen convertible. Not a clone. If you are looking at this car, you probably already know that they are produced in limited numbers, and are true classics. I am not the original owner, but it's obvious the car has been taken very good care of. The only negative that I see: the rear spoiler needs to be repainted. The body is great. Wheels and tires are excellent. I spent over $1000 at the Ford dealership having a complete inspection, tune-up, and flushing all fluids including transmission before I bought the car. I have driven less than 2000 miles--stays in garage with top down and hasn't even been driven in the rain. Absolutely turns heads anywhere I go, young and old. Great looking roll bar. The convertible top is new with new rear glass; cost over $1500. This is a very fun car to drive, but I do not ride it. Has pioneer pop-up CD unit that's over $1000--don't even know all that it does. Previous owner spent $9800 re-tooling the engine for enhanced performance, including a portable computer which adjusts the engine to normal, high performance. Installed nitrous system (professionally) through the plentum with purge to position selection of additional 75 horsepower or 150 horsepower. I have never had the guts to select either--it really doesn't need it-- performs great without it. He sold it to me because he was buying a Shelby GT convertible with over 700 horsepower. The reason I'm selling it: I just don't use it; wife won't ride in convertible; and don't want my grandchildren asking me to drive it. Car is for sale locally.
