Vehicle Detail

2005 Chevrolet Express Van(Same van as the GMC Savanna) CNG Compressed Natural Gas G3500 1 Ton 15 passenger *** NO RESERVE*** Features: Low Mileage 28,500k, Stabilitrak, Rear AC/ Heat, 15 passenger, 1Ton / 3500, V8 6.0 liter, 4 Speed Auto, Vinyl Floor Covering, Am / Fm Radio , 4 Rows of Cloth Bench Seating, 2 Cloth Captain Chairs, tow package and Runs on Natural Gas. This is a CNG vehicle the run on natural compressed gas. Thus you can not fill up at a standard unleaded, diesel gas station. Check your area for the ability to purchase natural gas. There is another option where you can purchase a home unit and compress the gas right at home. Express Van is full service and run well. Any questions just ask. We purchased this van about 3 years ago when it had 20K miles on it. Previous owner was a nature preserve in Milwaukee that used it for day trips with school kids. They had full synthetic engine oil and tranny fluid installed in the van. I have changed the oil once also with full synthetic oil. They say when you run natural gas with full synthetic you can go 25k miles but i did it just because it was 2 years old. Everything on van works good. A/C blows cold in front and rear. Power windows and mirrors. Tires are all in great shape :-) see pics. Van has three CNG tanks all mounted under the van, two mounted where the spare tire would be and a third along the drivers side frame rail. The three tanks give you just over 15 GGE's (Gasoline Gallon Equivalents) The van gets about 13/14 miles to the GGE so you will get around 215 miles to a tank full. The tanks that are on the van don't expire until 2015. If you want additional capacity the guy that did all our work has three additional tanks that I can have mounted across the back of the van. He has done it for me twice before and it has worked nicely. If you want me to have this done it will be in addition to the final auction price. The three tanks are all 6 gallon tanks each taking your total GGE's to 32. The down side to doing this is you will loose your back seat (4 person bench) because that is where he will mount the three tanks. The tanks all expired in 2009 or 2008 so he sells them for $150 a piece and he will install them for $250. They will be installed in series with the existing tanks so they will fill and run along with the existing system. If you want this done then please allow a week or so from the end of the auction to get them installed. If you just want the tanks and have them installed yourself or at your shop that is fine as well. Interior doesn't have any rips or tears or burns or any cosmetic issues. The exterior has a couple body spots: Picture 10 small dent on driver side near natural gas fill up. Picture 11 small dent on passenger side, on the rear quarter panel. Picture 15 light scratch on passenger side front fender. Please just ask if you have any questions. On Jun-21-10 at 10:16:36 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a dedicated CNG van. It is not a dual fuel vehicle. Thanks Matt
