You are looking at my beautifull 2003 Honda CBR 1100XX also known as a Super Blackbird. The blackbird was introduced in 1997 and was the fastest bike of all times, only bitten by the current Suzuki Hayabusa, which needed an additional 200cc to slightly beet this king of the road. It has a very powerful engine, inline 4 with 1137.00 ccm (69.38 cubic inches), with an impressive output of 164.00 HP @ 9500 RPM and 87.8 ft.lbs of torque @ 7250 RPM I am the second owner of this bike, and I have to tell you it's in really great shape, you must see it to believe it. It has always been garage kept, all services according to schedule, oil changed every 2000 miles or every season (whatever comes first). The bike is ready for the summer season, you will not need to invest any time or money as it is ready to go! I kept it pretty much original, I only purchased a Corbin Smuggler Seat, which you can see on a couple of pictures, that cost me over $400 and which I am including on this auction. In other words winner will take 2 sets of seats. I have just installed a set of Bridgestone BT-016 Hypersport, if you are not familiar, the front BT-016 uses a three-layer compound (3LC), one compound for the center of the tread and a second for both edges. The rear tire goes one step further, with 5LC (five-layer compound): The center of the tread is a hard compound for wear, and two successively softer compounds are found between the center and edge of the tread on each side. Like I said, this bike is in extremely good condition, adult ridden and most importantly, it has never been down, abused, raced or used for stunts. The only thing the bike has are a few very small scratches on the ride side faring (too small to show on the pictures), which were caused by the bike touching the brick wall on my garage entrance when I was bringing it in.
