The seats are very comfortable with the seat foam being firm as it was new. Door Panels, Carpet, Headliner and all the Dash are in excellent perfect shape! The Gauge cluster is bright and shinny. All the rubber Seals, Fender welting throughout the entire car, Felts, gaskets etc. are as new as the day she left the showroom floor. All Chrome including the Vent windows, Bumpers are in excellent shape as well. Even the glass is OEM. I cannot express enough on how intense this restoration was! This VW is Truly a "Time Capsule" that kept in this condition can only appreciate as time goes on! Mechanically, the engine and transmission run flawlessly! This little Bug is a blast to drive with its Very healthy 1300 CC Motor as its known for. The motor has such a nice tone through the exhaust set up that these cars had. The motor was completely freshened and purrs as NEW! The shifts are as smooth as silk through the Number matching 4 speed Manual transmission. The Transmission shifts up down down with ease. The car is very healthy with exceptional handling! As A tasteful upgrade a Wood roof rack has been installed to fit that era. There are no squeaks or rattles driving down the road. Handling is very enjoyable and steering is precise for a weekend boulevard cruiser. Every Gauge and Every option operates as it should. All services and regular scheduled maintenance have been performed. The engine compartment is all stock appearing and like new. This car could be driven anywhere with ease.
