1972 Mercedes 250. 6 cylinder gasoline engine with twin carbs. The car sat in my uncle's barn for at least 10 years. I got it running (rebuilt both carbs) and driving 2 years ago, then let it sit. I drained the gas and bought a new battery and had it firing a few weeks ago, then the starter went out (I think just the solenoid is bad). It ran and drove fine 2 years ago, so I think it it just needs to be fiddled with. It is NOT running presently, so it will need to be trailered. It needs (at least) tires, a starter, rubber brake lines, seals for the windscreen and back glass, and some TLC. On a scale of 1 to 10, the paint is a 3, the interior is a 7, and the body is a 9. It's really straight and relatively rust free. I was going to fix it up as a daily driver, but I don't have the time or money to spend right now. It is a solidly built car and the doors and trunk open and close like a new car. Payment in the form of cash or a certified, cleared cashier's check is due within 7 days of end of auction.
