As the photos show, this is a true low mileage survivor. If you're looking for a low-cost sports car, consider this mazda powered convertible. HISTORY Even though this Capri has spent all of it's life in Wisconsin, based on the condition and miles, it's easy to see it was well taken care of. It's even got a little back seat! CONDITION Cosmetically: The Capri is in excellent condition. Paint has a very nice gloss to it, interior is clean, dash has no cracks, glass is good. Some minor door type dings noted on body, drivers seat shows slight wear. Comes with the desireable hardtop so this could be a year round car. Mechanically the car is excellent. Starts, idles, runs, drives and stops very well. Very peppy 1.6l double overhead cam Mazda engine will get you up to highway speed in no time. No overheating issues and oil pressure is very strong. 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. All lights and gauges work. No dash warning or service lights are on. Stock radio has been replaced with an excellent sounding Kenwood stereo with removeable faceplate. The Capri has pop up headlights, but one needs to be flipped up manually. Powers windows work great, but power mirrors do not. The capri comes with air conditioning, but it does not blow cold. I have personally driven this car without issue. Even though the Capri is almost 20 years old, it's in great shape. I'd feel comfortable driving it on a long trip. Please familiarize yourself with all auction terms, ask questions and bid accordingly. Thanks. WHERE'S ELKHORN WISCONSIN? Elkhorn is about a 45 minute drive from Milwaukee's major airport (MKE) and there is a shuttle service that provides transport from the airport to Elkhorn. We are also about a 90 minute drive from Chicago. If schedule permits we may be able to pick you up at the MKE airport free of charge. TERMS The winning bidder is required to make a non-refundable paypal deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 7 days of auction end and can be made via cashiers check or possibly credit card subject to our card acceptance policy (ask first please). Wisconsin buyers only must add a $99 processing fee, out of state buyers pay no additional fees. Vehicle can be stored for 20 days after auction end. After 20 days a $7/day storage fee apply.
