This is a 57' chevy pickup project I started about a year ago. I'm moving and not taking it with me. It's a rough old truck and will require a lot of work. I bought it in running condition and blew it apart to restore. The front end is off of a 56'. There currently is no drivetrain in it, but I will include a very nice TH400 trans I removed from a 2wd suburban for it. It was taken apart down to the frame and sub-framed with a 78' camaro front subframe. The hood is very nice and appears to have no rust or filler in it. I had the left front fender and both rear fenders acid dipped. The rear fenders have rust on the front lower area (pictured) and dings in them but they are workable. The left front fender is too far gone to save in my opinion. The right front looks usable but I never had it dipped as I acquired a set of new front fenders for it. (Sorry already sold) The cab has good steps which have been replaced (not by me) and a solid floor, which has some patches in it. The front cab corners are rusted, the rears have been repaired at some point albeit poorly. The dash and gauges are pretty nice, the only real flaw is where someone enlarged the radio opening. There are some newer high back buckets seat installed in it. The glass is good. The pass. door looks pretty good but does have some filler in the bottom of it. There is no drivers door, the hinges are there though and I do have all the hardware for the door including the inner panel and vent window. I do not have the window and regulator. The bed steps are excellent. The left side bed panel is good, the right is rougher and has an area near the front upper area of the fender that has rusted through. The rear-end is still the stock 6 lug with a 3.90 gear. I do have all the lights for the front end. The wiring is all there. There is no steering column in it. I do have the front bumper and inner fenders, they are in the bed. I reassembled the truck with just enough bolts to hold it together and sprayed it with primer to keep the stripped areas from rusting. Brackets to support the front fenders on the sub frame still need to be fabbed up. It will not come with any wheels or tires, but these maybe used to get it on your trailer. I can deliver for $1 per loaded mile, must be paid for first. Ask as many question as you like. I also have many more pics that I would be happy to send via email. I do have 4 new cab corners and weatherstripping that will be offered to the winning bidder cheaply. It does have a clear Maryland title.
