This is one of those exterior finishes that has a hint of gold fleck that you can barely see without direct sunlight, but that adds to the depth and sheen of the incomparable "hand-rubbed" lacquer made famous by Jaguar Motor Cars. The Vanden Plas model allows about eight inches additional leg room in the rear and sports additional amenities, such as the look of burled walnut trimmings on the front console, all doors and the "Rolls Royce" like drop trays on the back of the fron bucket seats. This is a great car for either a "fix-it" project or dismantel to resell it's many extra's for parts. Either way it is a good investment for the right person. I was driving home and the oil light came on. I pulled over and checked the oil. It was full...still is. I continued home thinking it was an electrical nitch, and the car cut off on me. I had it towed home. Haven't bothered with it since. It will not start.
