1970 classic bug in excellent condition. Engine is a 1641 with brand new jugs & pistons,new rod bearings, new carburetor, new muffler with 200 miles on it. I also installed a new fuel gauge, the vehicle has good tires, paint and body is in very good condition ( no dents or major rust) although it has a couple of small scratches, and the front and rear bumpers need to be rechromed or replaced.The pan has the usual corrosion where the battery sits but other than that both pans are in great shape. The current registration will expire on 6-18-10, so it is legal to drive now. I wanted to keep this bug for myself, (because it is 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 in my opinion), but I'm starting a new custom bug project and the BOSS (wife) has put her foot down with keeping one or the other. I have tried to photograph all areas that I could think of both positive and negative to help give you the most information I can.
