This is a 1983 Mercedes Benz 300 D Turbo Diesel selling with a low reserve. The car is a true North Carolina car and I sold it to my friend about 7 years ago. At that time it had 148,000 miles on it and was in excellent condition. The vehicle is being sold "AS IS" and "WHERE IS." Since I sold it to him, he asked me to represent it on EBAY and I have had a mechanic check it out. The original gauge cluster is in the trunk and comes with the car. He replaced the cluster when it quit and replaced it with another cluster. The mileage is now unknown although he can tell you when the original cluster quit. Now, the car is whole and has a clear title and is currently registered in NC. It needs a full set of brakes and rotors, the a/c does not work, and it is sluggish until the turbo kicks in. The injectors probably need some attention. The hood, grill and radiator are NOT original and were replaced due to a deer diving on the hood. I had provided a picture of the title so you can see it is clear with no issues. Despite being 27 years old, if these TD's are in your blood, don't pass this one by!
