1988 Jeep Wrangler. 6 cyl. .258 engine with automatic transmission. I purchased this Jeep in 2006 to use on the deer lease in West Texas, but no longer have the lease so it does not get much use anymore. After I purchased the Jeep, I stripped it down and brought the Jeep back to life with a new paint job and rubberized coating on floor. The jeep is in great shape for a 1988 model and is mechanically sound. First crank on a morning takes a bit, but fine the rest of the day. Someone with a bit of knowledge about carburators should find it a simple fix. Jeep does have a tan soft top that was purchased new in 2006 that is in great condition and is included. The jeep does have a/c compressor and vents, however it was disconnected when I purchased it and I have never bothered to hook it back up. I was told that the Jeep had the engine rebuilt at approximately 10,000 miles ago. This jeep has been very reliable for me and have driven it on the freeway for long distances.
