At auction is this 1959 FORD RETRACTABLE HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE, This car is equipped with a 352CU.IN. four barrel V-8 and an automatic transmission. The car is not operable but the engine starts and runs with no problems indicated. The transmission shifts and has fluid but I am not sure of it's condition since I have not driven the car. All glass, with the exception of the drivers door glass is intact and not cracked. Included are the 4 original hubcaps which are in VERY NICE condition. Rust is apparant in the usual places; ie bottom rear of both front fenders and bumpers. All hydraulic components are included but again should be restored. (PLEASE SEE PICS). I my estimation the greatest asset this car has is the fact that it is COMPLETELY UNMOLESTED and has in no way been ALTERTED, cut or modified by anyone.The car is a 50 year old survivor and deserves the best restoration possible. Unfortunately I am no longer in a poosition to do this and hence this sale. It is my hope that someone will return this beautiful piece of American Auto History to the splendor it deserves.
