I have intended for years to build this into a shop truck, but it is still just a storage truck in my barn. The truck is in great shape. I have never tried to start the truck but the driveline is complete and the motor will turn over by hand. I think it is either a 283 or 327. The floors in the truck are all good and no rust through. The rear wooden floor is very solid. There is rust in the right front fender above the headlight and just in front of the door on the bottom of the fender, both shown in the photos. The seats need to be recovered, but the dash and intruments are all intact. The rear door latch is broken, but I have another one to replace it that was taken from a another panel. It's just a great solid truck that would be really cool to just clear coat over the original paint. I am resonably sure the motor will run like the previous owner promised, but I can't guarantee it. I am too lazy to do the carb clean, gas tank clean and tune up unless it doesn't sell. . The buyer is totally responsible for transport. I will be glad to help load the car on transporter. I reserve the right to end the auction early for local sale The car is as nice as the pictures show it. I sent the title to this truck to the buyer of a 1955 truck accidentily. I still have the title to the 55 and have contacted the other buyer to request exchange of the titles. I can't guarantee that he will actually carry through but I expect he will.
