Vehicle Detail
This is a 1988 Dodge Aries with very low miles. It has only 54,245 which is unheard of for this year. Two new tires, rear new shocks, new gas tank, and break lines. There is minimal rust in only a couple spots. The rear fender on each side has a couple like spots as shown in the pictures and also on the hatch back toward the bottum also shown in pictures. The rear view mirror needs to be re-attached, there is a dent from on the front bumper, the ceiling linning may need to be re glued, and the ashtrey is crooked. This is a classic car with close to nothing wrong with it, and it will make a great car from anyone. The base trim line was renamed America in 1988, was for basic transportation. 1988 was the last year for station wagons. Although many would call the Aries (and its twins the Plymouth Reliant and Chrysler LeBaron) "compact cars" they were so generously sized inside they were classified by the EPA as mid-size. They were the smallest "compact" cars to have 6-passenger seating with a 3 seat per row setup, similar to larger rear-wheel drive cars such as the Dodge Dart and other front-wheel drive cars such as the Chevrolet Celebrity. There was only 111,399 Dodge aries made in 1988 and that was the last year that the wagon style was ever made. On Jun-01-10 at 15:53:57 PDT, seller added the following information:Also their is no power stearing, and the breaks do work but could use new lines.
