1972 Pinzgauer 710M-Soft top, troop carrier version Purchased a few years ago on the advice of the President of one of the Pinzgauer associations who vouched for the truck. Said it had the strongest engine of any Pinz he had driven. He was true to his word, it is a very good truck. Work done locally as well as with Goat Werks in CA, specializing in Pinzgauers.Petronix ignition (electronic ignition)Tinted safety glass winshield4 wheel drive, lockers, low gear all work perfectlyNew Speedometer I hate to get rid of the car but I just purchased 2 classic cars, an Isetta and a Daimler Ferret and I just don't have the room.Unlike other classics this needs no work, tune ups, etc as it just had it all done, 30 days ago. Just buy and drive for a while with no surprises.You can speak with the mechanic also and he can tell you how meticulous I am with maintenance of my vehicles.Never thought I would sell it but something has to move out so the new ones can move in.Great Pinz, strong engine, everything works perfectly. The only area it needs attention is the windows of the soft top. They are original, faded, cracked. This is common on Pinzgauers and is an easy fix with any shop that works on convertible tops. Also Some rust on the top of the two front doors where the top half of the doors are put on and off. Surface rust, common in Pinz's in this place.
