mechanic74 Store Hey there. My name is Chris Jordan i am the owner of a tuner shop. I built this car for myself but due to slow times in my business, i am sad to say i have to sell it. The car was imported From Japan, and is a TRUE JDM car. It is a G-Limited, and is a BLAST to drive. IT has the 3S-GE motor, which had the timing belt redone 3k miles ago at Toyota of San Diego (was in march). The work is still warrantied but i am not sure for how much longer.The motor was replaced around 60k ago. IT is a true collectors item. I have babied it since day one, and it has been garage kept. The paint is new. It is a toyota factory Charcoal color from 2008 i believe. I will include the paint left over with the paint code with the sale. I will also include the super rare JDM tom's rear spoiler i decided to not go with in the sale. It is in primer. Cool G-limited only features: Steering fog lights( turn with the steering wheel) Retractable mirrors A better suspension Manual mode for the transmission Power mode for the transmission (changes the timing and shift pattern) Engine start button Quick Release steering wheel Auto up and down window drivers Telescoping steering wheel Lumbar seat Raise and lower seat As well as plenty of other features..... The tires have maybe 1000 miles on them, i just put them on. This car runs well, there are no leaks. It is strong and quiet at cruising speeds. The motor is stock, and has never been modded. Just a super clean car. THE VIN #: i entered the vin but since it is a jdm vin it is shorter than the us vin. I called ebay and they instructed me to just list it in the ad and use zeros in the vin slot. the VIN #: SW200045207. i also listed a picture of my state safety inspection and my registration. THOUGHTS: The whole driving on the right side of the car has become second nature to me, as it will for you. It took no getting used to , besides the first few days. IT IS a head turner, so be prepared to have people motioning you to roll down your window, ask you A LOT of questions and just overall be impressed by the car. The power button when it is pushed in seems to add a lot of power, but i am not exactly sure how it works. I usually don't have it pushed down as i am a slow and careful driver. feel free to call me, or make offers. For the right price i WILL take it off ebay for you, but i am sure it will get a lot of attention on here. Some people have asked how hard it is to do the trans swap to a manual, and the answer is a question: how bad do you want it? As is it is super fun to drive and not hard to learn the RHD feel. You can do the conversion for cheap, usually around $1500. on the mr2forums there are many write ups on how do it. It has passed all safety inspections and was very easy to insure. It also is very cheap to ensure even though it has the 3SGE motor.
