RELISTED WITH LOWER RESERVE!!! Mechanically sound 2nd owner Mercedes. Serviced by factory authorized mechanics. This is the last year of the much sought after W124 chassis. The vehicle is listed as a Special Edition E300D. The special edition was only offered in 1995 and includes special paint, rims, brushed aluminum door sills, factory phone and six disk CD changer mounted in the trunk. Powered by the extremely reliable straight six non turbo engine, I have consistently achieved 32-35 mpg in mixed driving. Vehicle will run on bio-diesel and can be easily converted to WVO or SVO use. I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle home anywhere in the United States. I have had all of the fuel lines replaced and the tires have 90% of the tread. The only mechanical issues are the cruise control is not operating and the a/c needs a recharge. It worked fine last summer, but is currently not blowing cold. There normal door dings and stone chips for a vehicle of this age. The rims do have some curb rash marks. There are no dash cracks or wood veneer issues. Interior is in excellent condition. No rust on the exterior. Vehicle was involved in a low speed rear end bump in stop and go traffic. The offending vehicle cracked the rear bumper with their license plate bolts. The bumper cover was replaced and repainted by a professional, approved body shop. I really hate to see this vehicle go, but I have two other diesels and do not have the need for a third car at this point. I can pick buyers up at either Columbia Airport or Charlotte, NC.
