Vehicle Detail
The economy wins! 1969 Dodge Dart. Nice car for street/strip/cruise night. I have owned this car since 1987 and have had it garaged since it was painted in 1992. It is a rust-free car. It has a Mopar Performance 380 horsepower 360 with upgraded to put out around 410 horsepwer. This engine and transmission have less than 2000 miles on it since they were installed. This car will get you noticed! Here is a list of this car's goodies: ENGINE: Mopar Performance 380 horse 360 Magnum crate motor. Heads upgraded with 1.97 inch stainless steel intake valves replacing the stock 1.92 valves. The exhaust valves were also replaced with stainless units. The heads have been bowl ported and ports have been gasket matched. The stock rocker arms were replaced with Crane aluminum roller tip rockers and the push rods were replace with Crane heavy duty heat-treated units. TRANSMISSION: 727 Torqueflite with Turbo-Action clutches/bands(professionally built). Has a Turbo Action 3500 stall torque converter. FUEL SYSTEM: Barry Grant prepared holley 750 double pumper with Holley HP main body, 3/8 aluminum fuel line, Carter electric race fuel pump, holley pressure regulator. IGNITION SYSTEM: MSD 6A control box, Taylor Spiral-Core 8mm plug wires, Mopar Performance distributor(recurved for maximum performance), Accel Supercoil(50,000 volts), battery relocated to trunk. EXHAUST: 1 7/8 Hedman Husler headers with 3 1/2 inch collectors leading to 3 inch pipes with Flowmaster big block mufflers. The exhaust tips turn down just after exiting the mufflers. REAR END: 4.30 ratio 8 3/4 rear. Mopar Performance Super Stock springs, Mopar Performance long drag shocks, Mopar Performance adjustable pinion snubber. FRONT SUSPENSION: Mopar Performance drag race torsion bars (one size smaller in diameter than slant 6 bars), Competition Engineering adjustable shocks. COOLING SYSTEM: Howe Racing aluminum radiator, Summit Racing overflow can, Mopar Performance electric fan. INTERIOR: Summit Racing lightweight bucket seats, Auto Meter 10,000 RPM Monster Tach, Auto Meter oil pressure, temperature, and fuel pressure gauges. Interior is CLEAN! Dash pad is not cracked at all! Radio delete plate from Year One. EXTERIOR: PPG brand Lemon Twist Yellow paint, fiberglass lift-off hood with Hemi style scoop and GTS emblem, fiberglass front and rear bumpers, GTS finish panel on trunk. WHEELS/TIRES: 15 inch Centerlines. 15x3.5 front, 15x8 rear. Has M/T E.T. Street D.O.T. legal Slicks(26-10.50x15). ISSUES: Paint is bubbling a little on quarter panels right behind the rear tires. There is a small raised area in the right fender just behind the antenna base where something hit it from inside the wheelwell. Dash lights are not working(problem has been traced to headlight switch). Chrome edge on drivers side window a slightly damaged. Carpet has a stain on the passenger side, not really all that noticeable-looks like a shadow unless you stare at it-may come out-haven't tried to clean it yet. Header are ceramic coated, but do have some rust on them, they still look better than uncoated headers though. This car will have no reserve price.
