I purchased the car locally without an engine but did come with the 4-speed Saginaw transmission and 3:42 gears in the rear end.According to the manual i have for that year of camaros,it says that the car originally came with a 4 cylinder engine.I purchased a rebuilt short block from a local machine shop and they helped me built it up and fire it for the first time.Currently has just over 500 miles after initial break in.Runs good but has low speed because of the trans/rear end gear combo.My original plan was to have something street legal but yet be able to play with.I've put straight pipes on directly off the hooker headers but was going to replace it with something else when i got the time.The interior is in fair shape as the inner roof layer is falling down in spots.There is a small air bubble in the clutch line that once in a while gives problems with going in and out of neutral but when going down the road does not require a clutch.The car is is not currently registured nor does it have Insurance.I was unsure if i wanted it street legal or if it was going to be strictly a drag car.My life has become more busy and i have to many vehicles to keep up with,so this one has to go.Delivery may or may not be a possibility depending on location of buyer,otherwise the buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling fees.There is no warranty on the car and i'm selling it as is unless further arrangements are made.Paypal is accepted as well as check,cash or money orders.No credit cards.for further questions feel free to e-mail me at mechanicben@hotmail.com
