1961 Corvair V8 (Front Engine) I bought this unique Vair in December. I had it shipped from California. It has some common rust areas but overall is a solid car. It runs and drives. It needs some TLC but can easily be a great driver. This car turns heads everywhere I go. I hate to sell but need the cash. If you are looking for a car that no one else has, this is it! The front engine conversions are especially rare. Everything is original corvair except the following: 1970 Chevrolet Nova: Heavy Duty Radiator, Fan Shroud, Bottom Radiator Hose 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo: 305 V8 Engine, board .040 over with flat top pistons, 350 Heads, 300HP 327 Cam 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle: Fuel Pump, Water Pump, Master Cylinder 1980 200R4 Transmission 1978 Ford Granada: Rear End 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle: Front Breaks 1969 Ford Mustang: Gas Tank, Leaf Springs and Rear Suspension 1962 Dodge: Windshield Wiper Motor 1978 Ford Fairmont: Heater Core The corvair does not have a neutral safety switch.
