Classic C-70 Honda Scooter. 3 speed-automatic. No clutch, shift by letting up on the gas and working the foot shifter. Easy to use. Top speed is around 40-45 mph depending on load. The Passport can carry two people. Great for riding about town or using with a RV when camping. It is street legal when licensed. Clear title. Has not be licensed in California since July 1997. Starts right up. Rebuilt Carb, new gas lines and fresh gasoline. At this time, the electric starter isn't working. Replaced Neutral Safety Switch. Will install new battery. Scooter has lived on Mobil One since it was a baby. Headlight is the new style where just the bulb and not the entire headlight unit can be replaced if need be. A common issue with this bike occurs when trying to start with a dead battery -- it burns out the headlight. No longer a hassle. The tires are original. Yep. Original. They hold air and roll smoothly but do have sidewall cracks. Included is the original tool kit, the Honda booklet and a printed shop manual. Also a cable lock with one key plus two white old school helmets (not brand name) and they need new nylon liners. The helmets are a Large and a Medium. On May-22-10 at 16:28:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Update on electrical: Installed new wet cell 6 volt battery. All lights, turn signals and horn worked. No electric starter or neutral safety switch. Discovered that neutral safety switch has a crack in it. Easy replacement but don't have the part on hand. This AM, bike started easily, but the neither the lights nor horn work. To allow for any needed repairs, the reserve has been lowered.
