Vehicle Detail

1930 Ford Model A 2-door Sedan You are looking at a 1930 Tudor Sedan project car. I'm selling this car because I bought it as a project, but am selling this to finish a Galaxie. The body of the car is in very nice condition, it's an extremely solid car. The previous owner found it in a haybarn in Iowa. I have had to clean up the top half of the car as I needed to straighten out the driver's side a bit because a bail had fallen onto it and make some repairs. The top panels are tack welded together at the moment since the wood was all junk. It is very straight. Also included, but not on the car, are the windshield and the dash, which unfortunately has been "modified". The fenders are there... Not in the greatest of shape, you can see in the pictures. The frame is totally solid. All the suspension and steering gear is in place, intact, and solid. I have another set of Model A spindles, you get those. The previous owner (seriously... I'm not making this up) had the engine running, however I have not. He replaced the exhaust and some ignition items, and it has certainly been ran after it's installation. I've never put it all the way back together to see for myself, I have a Merc 255CID Flathead that I was going to use, also for sale, and I also have no 6V batteries or chargers. The transmission shifts, however he said there was an issue with it's shifting while running. He gave me a big box of Model A transmission parts, which you will also get. I intended on running vintage 40-48 Ford hydraulic drum brakes and was going to use a set of 36-39 wide 5 drums, wheels, and hubs, which are shown on the car. The drums, hubs, and wheels are bolted onto the spindles and axle, however the mechanical backing plates are still there. You get the 40-48 Ford backing plates and hardware with your win. The tires are Denman 600-16, all in pretty good shape, two have better tread than the others but I was gonna use them all. I have a spare wide-5 wheel and beauty ring with another 600-16 mounted to it, but its a blackwall. Get it too. It has a clean WV title, no problems at all there. We don't need mileage on ours for something like this. Please email with any questions or for any more pictures! Thanks! Pick up has to be made within 2 weeks of the end of the auction. $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end, PayPal only. Balance paided at pickup in either cash, cashiers check, or money order only. No trades, unless you have parts for a 1964 Galaxie. I'll ship it if you want to, but the details are all up to you.On May-19-10 at 17:10:28 PDT, seller added the following information: My 1949 Mercury 255CID Flathead and a 1936 Ford Toploader Transmission are for auction here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270580648114&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT Item #: 270580648114
