Vehicle Detail

Older restoration. Always garaged. Really sharp driver. 350 with 3970010 casting, mild cam and double-hump heads, 4-barrel spreadbore Holley on Edelbrock Torker intake, Accel HEI, headers with mean-sounding Borla mufflers. Rebuilt and updated 700r4 trans with aftermarket lockup switch, external trans cooler, Bowtie Overdrives TV cable setup; balanced driveshaft, new u-joints - cruises at 2200rpm at 70mph; 3:08 10-bolt rear end. Power steering, manual brakes, no a/c. Other new/recent parts: all new dash heater controls/cables, windshield, replaced leaky rear axle seals (new diff. oil and gasket) and a trans cooling line. Prowler purple paint with a few minor cracks/blemishes, no dents or dings. Body/frame very solid, a couple of small rust spots in floor pans and inner fenderwells and one 1/4” spot at top of firewall (at base of windshield under trim - not visible, but may leak a little behind dash if hit with hard water spray). Bed has spray-in liner, tailgate/doors work fine. Nice aftermarket bumpers, rest of chrome is original driver quality. Deep tread T/A radials on Corvette 8” rallys with new flat caps. Air shocks on the back. Very nice gray 2-tone cloth-tweed bench seat interior including headliner and door panels, GT steering wheel. Carpet is slightly worn, kick panels and dash pad are okay but could use replacing to make interior 100%. Aftermarket radio/cassette, speakers behind seat. Everything works except clock, odometer, horn, left front turn signal; column shift is missing dash gear indicator, turn signals have to be canceled manually; speedometer reads 15mph fast, wanders sometimes at higher speeds, but has reliable tachometer. These are all the minor issues. Car fires right up and drives tight - not perfect, just a very cool, good-looking and sounding cruiser. More photos available. $8k invested, only selling to fund other projects.
