If You Have Been Looking For An Original 63-64 Avanti Don’t Let This One Get Away California Car The car was featured on the PBS program World of Collector Cars VIN #3754 The car was restored 4000 miles ago It has always been garaged The car is stock except for a GM alternator and Ford disc brakes (see below) 289 V8 with 3 Speed Automatic Power Windows Exterior color is Gold an original Studebaker color Interior is Fawn also an original color The mileage on the odometer is 20,543 but we do not think it is correct. The car is rust free and has no patch panels. The paint is beautiful with only one flaw. Just after the photos were taken the trunk lid was scratched while putting on the car cover (see additional photos for a photo). The upholstery is in excellent condition and the door panels are new old stock. The original Avanti front disc brakes were not very good so some one came up with a kit using Ford rotors and Chrysler calipers to make a better braking system. The car stops good. The paperwork showing what parts were used will come with the car. Also the car comes with these spare parts: two water pumps, two fuel pumps, new set of hoses for the power steering, seal kit for rebuilding the power steering, NOS hood release cable, the original inside rear view mirror and the original alternator (non working).
