This is a 00 Ford F-450 tow truck with only 86k miles. It has a Century 602 twin boom and winch and a wheel lift. All the hyd hoseswere replaced and cylinders were rebuilt at the end of 2009 to the tune of $1800. In January I also put $2200 dollars worth of Michilen Heavy Duty tires all the way around (they have around 4k miles on them now. Also replaced both winch cables about 6 months ago and replaced the swivel pin in the wheel lift at the same time. Truck was purchased from insurance company at the end off 2000 it was a Cab and Chassy that was a stolen recovery, it was stolen and ran into a ditch. It was purchsed fixed and been a tow truck ever since. When it was purchsed it was a salvage title from insurance, it is now a rebuilt title. It has been used on a car lot since then for transporting, repoing, pulling motors, etc. You name it this truck can do it. It has the 7.3 Power Stroke diesel with only 86k original miles. It has ice cold A/C auto trans manual windows and locks rubber floors and grey vinyl seat. About 2 years ago I put a 2006 Ford Front grill,headlights, bumper, and chrome mirrors on it and it really looks and drives like a new truck. It has been to Texas and New Orleans on several occasions with no problem. I would not hesitate to drive anywhere. It will tow anything you put behind it. I have towed short school busses smaller motor homes its just a great all around truck to have.The airbags have never delpoyed but the light has been on since I got it and recently after changing the center bearing on the drive shaft the ABS light comes on from time to time but has no affect of its running or driving.
